Living in Mallorca, the Norwegian founder of Fibonacci Bakery missed the coffee and baked goods from home, but he was naturally in love with the flavors and flair of Spanish cuisine. So he decided to create an artisan bakery that was dedicated to pure ingredients and a warm experience for his customers.
The founder came to WORK in 2009 with his vision, and we developed the interior designs and visual identity which combined the raw, artisan approach with Scandinavian simplicity. The founder named the bakery Fibonacci after his interest in mathematics, continuity and balance. We took this into account when designing the open, balanced spacing of the bakery, which kept the products as the tempting point of focus. We also developed the take-away cups, product labels and packaging, all of which conveyed the bakery’s personable and sophisticated relationship to their customers and their baked goods.
